Our Services

Everything your family needs to plan ahead

We work through every dimension of aging — legal documents, medical coordination, housing options, and the family conversations no one knows how to start.

01
Family Assessment
A 90-minute session to get the big picture — where your family is right now and where you want to be. We map the full landscape across health, legal, financial, and care, then deliver a written action plan within 1 week.
02
Legal Document Planning
Guidance on Healthcare Proxy, Power of Attorney, Living Will, and POLST. We help you understand what each document does, organize the right questions for your attorney, and can facilitate remote notarization of completed documents through Proof.com — so your family goes from prepared to fully executed, all virtually.
03
Medical Coordination
Organizing your parent's complete medical picture — providers, medications, insurance, diagnoses — into a clear record the whole family can access.
04
Care Options & Planning
We help families start the conversation about what care might look like as needs change — exploring general options, understanding what questions to ask, and making sure a plan is in place before decisions need to be made urgently.
05
Family Meeting Facilitation
We guide the conversations families avoid — end-of-life wishes, financial realities, sibling roles — in a structured, compassionate Zoom session.
06
Ongoing Support
Quarterly check-ins to keep your plan current as your parent's needs evolve. We're with you for the long journey.
Jesse's parents — the inspiration behind The Parent Planners

These are my parents. This is why I built The Parent Planners.

A story that started
with my own family

This photo was taken on one of those ordinary afternoons that you don't realize matter until later. They were together, happy, healthy enough. What I didn't know then was that within the next few years, both of them would have medical events that would change everything — and that our family would be completely unprepared for what those moments demanded.

When the first health scare hit, my sisters and I looked at each other and realized we didn't have a single thing in order. We didn't know all their medications. We couldn't name their specialists. We had no idea if a Healthcare Proxy existed, let alone where it was. We were educated, capable, loving people who had absolutely no idea what we didn't know. And when the second medical event came — because it did — we were still scrambling.

"Don't wait for the crisis to start the plan."

That thought wouldn't leave me. So I built it. The Parent Planners is everything I wish our family had before the hard moments arrived — a clear plan, organized documents, and a trusted guide to help families go from overwhelmed to prepared. Not after a crisis forces your hand. Before.
